A female toddler's body was found in Benteng Village, Nusaniwe Sub-district, Ambon City, Maluku, washed ashore. The discovery of this corpse also had horrendous citizens in the location.
"This toddler body was found at around 15.45 WIT and was evacuated to Bhayangkara Polda Maluku Hospital in Tantui," said Paur Subag Ambon Police Public Relations and PP Lease, Ipda Pol Yahya Leinussa in Ambon, Thursday (12/7/2018) night.
This little boy was first discovered by a construction worker named Melvin Pattirajawane (36). Melvin was working on building a house near the crime scene. Feeling exhausted, he then rested for a moment on the talud. It was then that Melvin saw a baby body on a beach whose water was receding.
"Initially the witness thought the body was a puppet, but when viewed closer it was actually a corpse of a toddler who had no clothes on his body," said Yahya.
"Melvin then called his co-worker, Nyong Pattiwaelapia, to go straight down to the beach to see if it was a dumped baby body, or just a toy doll," he added.
Once confirmed, they then report to the Benteng Sector Police Station. The police immediately went to the scene and did the crime scene (TKP). The officer then evacuated the victim's body to Bhayangkara Hospital, and asked for information from a number of witnesses.
