View Full Version : A-Rod Admits To Using Steroids
so much for him being taken seriously anymore...
In his defense there might not be a pro athlete in any sport (including golf) that hasn't taken some form of performance inhancing drugs...These witch hunts in my opinion are bull shit

Remember when Canseco was pretty much called crazy for his accusation at Alex.
Canseco wrote that Rodriguez didn't explicitly say, "I want to buy steroids," but instead asked where one would go to purchase them.
"If you want, I can introduce you to some guys," Canseco said he told Rodriguez. "In fact, I know a guy with plenty of access, and he also happens to be a very good trainer."
"'That would be good,'" A-Rod said, according to an excerpt from "Vindicated." "'I'd like to meet this guy.'"
Canseco said he called A-Rod the next day to tell him he had made arrangements for him to meet the trainer.
"When they showed up, I made the introductions: 'A-Rod, this is your trainer (and supplier). Max, this is your client, A-Rod,'" Canseco wrote in his book.
"I may not have seen him do the deed, but I set the whole thing up for him, just like he wanted. I saw the changes in his body in a short time. Hell, if you ask me, I did everything but inject the guy myself," Canseco wrote.

These 'revelations' are as obvious as Lance Bass or Rosie O'Donnell coming out of the closet. Anyone who knows a little about baseball knows that those stats certain guys were putting up are astronomical. I just hope my hero Greg Maddux didn't do them. He's always been a runt anyways.

Steroids in baseball (and other Americanized sports) is like soooooooo 2005. Seriously, so few professional athletes have any sense of fun in sports anymore. Where does the fun go now? Into drugs... or money? I don't get it.

Hey, it's not easy when you get to this level in sport. During my heyday as world pie eating champion, I had to maintain my edge on the competition by consuming up to 15 pints of real ale per day!!
