There is this really awesome new anime that I think all of you should see, even the non anime fans.
It's called Soul Eater, there are 8 episodes but it is still being made, and there are active fansub groups.
Here is some more info on it:
In a bizarre fantasy world, students known as meisters are trained at the illustrious Shinigami Weapon Meister University; but the tools they wield are no ordinary weapons! Each meister is paired with a human-like being who can transform into a weapon at will; and after defeating a pre-kishin - a human whose soul has darkened - the weapon eats the soul within it. A meister's ultimate goal is to collect ninety-nine pre-kishin souls and one of a witch so that his or her partner will become an all-powerful Death Scythe. Maka and her partner Soul Eater; Assassin Black Star and his partner Demon Blade Tsubaki; and Shinigami's son Death the Kid and his partners the Demon Twin Pistol Thompson Sisters each vie for their ultimate goal, but plenty of challenges and adventures lie in their way!
The reason I recommend it to anybody is because of things like the great animation quality. Soul Eater has to be one of the most well drawn anime's I have even seen. Besides the animation and the quality of it, the story is awesome. You just can't not enjoy students going around killing things with their weapons who are humans but can transform. Some of the characters are cute, too. :p

If you are interested, which I'm sure you all are, in watching it, go to Mininova and do individual searches for each episode. It won't take long seeing as there are currently only 8 episodes. Search for Soul Eater 01, Soul Eater 02, Soul Eater 03, Soul Eater 04, and so on. If you don't know what Mininova is then Google it... you'll find it. ;)
I have been watching anime for a very long time and I have never limited myself to watching only 1 episode per day like I do with Soul Eater - that is how good it is. :D
