It is now illegal for employers to spy on their employees' IM conversations unless they own the data.

I own a business and if I hire someone to do work on my computers that I pay for not only the internet connection but the computer and health benefits etc.
I will snoop and make sure as fuck they're doing what I'm paying them to do and not surfing through the internet!

I still snoop because it's legal here, but if you were to spy then you would be in a little bit of trouble. :p
