well if you have a next gen console already you should stick to it,
unless you want to have a more advanced console,
the ps3 wins in many ways from the 360 but will not go for another 4 years,
if you have all the games you already want and dont mind paying for live you shouldnt switch,
psn is being underestimated big time,
im playing lots of online games and have no trouble at all with lag,
BUT live will maybe give that little bit extra connection,

I found that playing 'some' games (mostly sports) on live were total shit because of lag or cheats. (modem bump...)

Hacked is not what my problem was. I played halo 3 and there still was a lot of modem fuckery being done.
Same with madden online.
I know they have made some of the scoring able to penalize the player who quit but I wasn't sure if it is still as bad as it used to be.
Toss away accounts were the problem back then as well.
1 month free cards created the biggest ALT problem.
Game stop and EB fucktards just hoarded those and used em on Halo 3 to level up their buddies.
Even if they got caught who the fuck cared.
Incredibly Micro & soft never held anyone accountable.

I just finished Fallout 3 on hard. It was pretty fun. Vault 106 still creeps me the hell out. In fact, it's the only time a video game ever has...not including when I was afraid of almost everything as a child.

Anyway, I guess I should try Skyrim again. I'm just not that into it. I like the allusions of the struggles between the Romans and Germanic tribes, though. It kind of makes me want to study iron age history again.

Fallout 3 is hands down the best role playing game in existence, if you have'nt already, you should play the game of the year edition, it basically doubles the size of an already HUGE game. The extra quest are the best of the game, too.

IMO fallout new vegas is a no go, don't get me wrong, it is ok, just lacks the 'thing' fallout3 had, whatever the 'thing' is/was.

Skyrim bored the shit out of me, im not into dragons, potions and all that mythical shit so thats maybe why.

lol, that tug of war game was a bitch. The same thing happened to my palm. I actually found a way to overcome this. I just used the corner of my palm right under my index finger to rotate the control stick. I still got blisters, but it wasn't nearly as painful as using the center of my palm.

Those hard analogs had no difficulty ripping the skin off your hands. I knew some guys who used to put the controller face-down on the floor and spin the controller around. Worked pretty well if you were fast enough but it fucked up your controllers.
