The thing that struck me as most interesting in the Mexican chainsaw beheading was that both men faced imminent death with a stoic demeanor. Even after the first attempt with the chainsaw resulted in the machine snagging a tendon and kicking, the man made no real attempt to discourage a second try. The beheading of the portly nephew with a dull knife to me was more brutal and prolonged than the chainsaw. What is it with the Mexicans and dull blades? Hammer and screwdriver murder by Ukrainian Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs was, to me a far more brutal and sadistic act.
