Video pages or the forums - why do you come to TheYNC?

Why do you come back to TheYNC? Are you here for the videos, the forums, or some combination of the two? If you had to pick one or the other, which would it be? Or, more thoughtfully, what would you like to see different (or mixed together) between the two interactive communities?

I used to be pretty into the forums back when there was fresh material, lots of non-personal, archive-like threads with on-topic contributions. Now the forums are waaaay different... lots of off-topic humor, a few serious threads, but some of the humor is just so redundant to me (i.e. the various one-word-post threads) that I don't see the point. So many threads have become like this that I've kind of become detached from the forums a bit... mostly the Current Events section is more interesting to me, since it gets people to think about their reactions and learn something new.

For this reason, I've been getting back into reading some quite interesting comments and reactions on the video pages. Hard for me to pick either-or at the moment, but if asked at gunpoint, I'd say the video pages are why I come to TheYNC.

no seriously I hear that Zykron, I miss some serious debate and opinions, I know now that this doesnt exist in this forum at least not on a regular basis. But maybe people come in here just to mess around because of the serious nature of the videos. idk
