Exposure to a tiny sample of uranium, of ANY KIND, won't hurt much. You'd have to breathe in a lot of radioactive dust all the time to get that intoxicated. Maybe that's what happened. So, if you live in a uranium soil-enriched area, then... you probably aren't reading this.
Actually, look up radioactivity toxicity from a credible source, since it's pretty much the same as DU toxicity... of course the hippie site above wants to exaggerate/bias the dangers of DU.
