Quitting his secure job to cover the Afghanistan conflict, McHugh is extremely passionate about this More.. series. I will admit I was hooked on the story in Afghanistan recalls John, Not the danger or adrenaline, but the story itself. I could see that the reality on the ground was very different to the story being told back in the west. This documentary brings together John's reporting from across Afghanistan. In one instance he follows a US dust-off crew using helicopters for medical evacuation, Dust-off crews pride themselves on their reaction times. This later proved lucky for John, I am a member of an exclusive club: I have been shot during a gunfight.
