What browser are you using (and what version)? Try upgrading to the latest version to see if that works. Do you have any extensions installed in your browser (i.e. pop-up blockers, antivirus, etc.)? Try disabling those if you still have this problem.

You might have to do more than turn off just that. TRY ANTI-VIRUS as well, turn that off.

[1] Does the freeze happen ONLY on General Discussion? What OTHER pages does this happen as well????

[2] What browser are you using? Firefox? Safari? etc.

The problem could just be a Firefox extension, I can't tell until I know what your using for a browser.

    Google Chrome?

Does this problem occur AS WELL... in OTHER BROWSERS? Try Firefox to see if the problem still exists. Otherwise, I can't narrow this down further.

Also, run me down a list of all the webpages that you've found to have this kind of freezing issue.

Figures, yet another reason why GOOGLE SUCKS. They still can't make a satisfactory product. I remember when they came our with a toolbar plug-in for my browser. Everyone bragged about it, meanwhile, I was stuck having to uninstall my browser manually just to get back online, because of Google. Nice to see Chrome sucking wind, not a surprise.

    I like Google tbh

    I use their browser
    I use the search engine

    no problems from them yet.

Well alright I don't want to turn another thread into a Google pro/con war...

    But we're not done here.

gremlin: In your Google Chrome, is there any way to reset your preferences/saved data? In fact, maybe Kyo, you know more, where do you go to clear your browser's cache/other data in Chrome?

(P.S. Google's search engine has been horrible, in my opinion, since the year 2000. )
