I had no idea you were dealing with such an issue. You do a great job of being positive. I envy you. I have been struggling with depression from time to time. I am still learning my limitations. Its even harder to accept them. I have an amazing support system at home. My wife is an angel. I have to learn to swallow my pride at times. I’ve never been one to ask for help. I have always been the one to help everyone. I have yet to use my handicap parking placard. Its been quite the learning curve. I know one day I will learn to deal with it better. Right now all I feel is frustration.

Depression is an easy mindset to slip in to and can be impossible to talk about (depending on the severity.)

I too have had my personal demons to settle and battles versus self. It's easy to offer advice, BUTT difficult to take it.


All I will say is do not give up on life. Always search for the positives. REALISE that your condition requires an adjustment

of your perception of how you go about your life. The depression is your mind CUMMING to terms with what you have had to go through

and a fear of the unknown- how things will turn out/ which path you should follow/ your insecurities and vulnerabilities being exposed.


Do not fight it. Embrace it. Use it as an opportunity to educate yourself and help others.

Make it your reason for getting up in the morning. Make every day count.

Just think, you'd be worried if you weren't struggling to adjust, wouldn't you? At least it shows you are of strong moral character.


It won't all happen at once.


Do not expect anything, and be grateful for everything. Even the bad, for this makes the GOOD seem even better!!!

@Rapewolf; Well you're a shady one, or have you spoke of this before and I missed it? (apparently I miss lots of things). Either way thanks for sharing!

I've mentioned a couple of things BUTT not is so much detail.

I know how it feels and how difficult it can be. I have felt like posting something like this many times BUTT have not had the BALLS.

@Kurt- I'm 38

@Rapewolf- I havent been doing the best at taking my meds and it caught up with me. On Tuesday I had a Myasthenic crisis. That means my lungs were not working right and I had to go to the ER. I guess wishing it away isnt working. We've decided to be more agressive with my treatment. I start high dose steroids on Friday. Steriods suck. They make you puff up and feel like crap but it should boost my receptors.
