Where have you been? Events, concerts, sports etc...

The 1978 Commonwealth Games are a highlight in my memories.

The organizers had spare tickets for school kids and the delivery
was late.
I had an exam on the last day of school in the tenth grade and
there was an intercom announcement, "If you are interested
in tickets to the Commonwealth Games events, go to the gym
office and get them."

Most students had finished their exams and there were few
in the school on that day.

I got tickets for boxing, swimming, diving, track and field and
more.

My family and friends spent the next ten days or so, taking in
the events.

Yes and the winter olympics of 1988, held in Calgary were sweet as well.

I was there for a day and watched luge and ski jumping. Eddy, the Eagle
was the ski jumper for Great Britain... He tried hard.

I brought my brother and oldest sister to a Stones concert.
It was held at an ootdoor stadium.
That was during my dope and drinking daze and for obvious,
reasons, I laid off and went sober.

...To this day, the memories last.
