It's been a few days, but allow me to clarify: this "default" thing is a big hype and will become little more than a joke in a few months.
The debt per citizen in Quebec is 25% higher than it is for the USA. I don't see Quebec talking about a default anytime soon. Why even have a stupid debt limit anyways? Personally, the debt limit should be $0, everywhere. Anything lower is evidence of a problematic bullshit system.
Meanwhile, HSBC is about to report a $11 billion revenue, and the banks and the oil companies have all the money.
People keep saying that Americans should work harder... for who? The bank-oil companies? Because that's where all the money is going.
