Grand father murdered at the foot of his house

Luis Alfonso Cabrera, 70, was murdered at the door of his home in the Los Jardines sector, Guayaquil and Cuarta Norte streets, in Machala. Subjects on board a motorcycle fired several shots at him until he was lifeless.The incident occurred after 6:00 p.m. this Friday, September 1, when the victim was removing a family member from the Juana de Dios school. At that moment, the antisocials were following him and took advantage of the exact moment he was at the door of his house. to attack him with a bullet.
According to witnesses, the man desperately knocked on the door, but his relatives were unable to open it in time. Everything happened quickly; the man was badly injured in front of his loved ones who were asking for an ambulance.
After 15 minutes the paramedics arrived and only confirmed the person's death.
When the murder occurred, the victim was with her granddaughter, a minor, who witnessed the violent event.
A citizen, who preferred to keep his identity confidential, indicated that when he was in the area he heard four gunshots, and a few seconds later he saw two subjects at high speed aboard a motorcycle, who fled in an unknown direction.

At the site there were moments of pain, relatives rushed to the body and asked that it be taken to the hospital, but nothing could be done.
The helplessness of his loved ones was evident, while a woman who was apparently his wife was hugging the corpse of her loved one and did not want to accept that he had died.
However, Criminalistics agents cleared the crime scene to carry out the corresponding investigations.
The body was transported in a van to the Forensic Center of the city of Machala for the respective autopsy.
