Man Gets Shot By Albuquerque Police After Running With Gun

At around 11:45 a.m., Albuquerque Police officers responded to reports of a man pointing a gun at residents at the Eagle Nest Apartments. Shortly after officers arrived at the scene and spotted the man. A chase ensued and the man was given commands to drop the gun and then shots were fired at the man, striking him. The man was taken to the hospital where he is in critical condition. No officers were injured in the shooting. The man had two warrants out for his arrest. No other details have been released.
