Manhattan, N.Y. — On Sunday, August 16, 2026, at approximately 4:02 p.m., a civilian witness called 911 and reported that a person was attacked and bleeding inside a residential apartment building in the vicinity of Rivington Street and Ludlow Street, Manhattan.
