Why the fuck would you open any shop in that shithole country let alone a jewelry shop. Fuck people are stupid.

@Mustang Opening mainly because of Syria's deep-rooted cultural tradition of gold as a primary savings vehicle and an essential component of social rituals.

However, there are many reasons, including but not limited to;
Due to the instability of the Syrian pound, residents heavily rely on buying gold jewelry and bullion to protect their capital and savings against inflation.
Jewelry, particularly gold, is central to Syrian weddings and celebrations, where it is given as Al-Shabka (a traditional wedding gift) and for occasions like births.
Syrian jewelry is known for its high-quality craftsmanship. There is consistent demand for traditional gold, and artisans have shown resilience by adapting to market conditions.
New regulations have made it easier to import raw gold into Syria with minimal taxes and customs duties, assisting in the rejuvenation of local gold manufacturing.
Despite the conflict-driven destruction, the local market in major cities like Damascus remains active, and foreign investments are being encouraged to help with economic recovery.

However, there are also risks, as seen in this video where two lads got fucking murked by bandits. RIP to both men.

@Jeffabel who?

@SugarSlaughter293 WAIT SHIT you meant Bashar El-Assad. Fuck no, we do not need him.
Over half a million people died in the Syrian civil war, with reports attributing over 90% of civilian deaths to pro-Assad forces.
Assad's regime was implicated by the United Nations and other investigators in multiple chemical attacks against its own population, including the 2013 Ghouta sarin attack.
Thousands of Syrians vanished into the regime's prison network, with reports of widespread, systematic torture, sexual abuse, and execution in facilities such as Branch 215. peaceful protests in 2011 were met with severe military crackdowns, forcing a transition to armed conflict.
The regime conducted widespread bombing campaigns, including the use of barrel bombs, targeting hospitals, schools, and homes in opposition-held areas.

And when that bastard realised he wasn’t getting away with it there, he fled to Mother Russia, where Daddy Putin gladly keeps him safe and secure :D the end.

Seriously, if you genuinely support Al-Assad, fuck you and ESPECIALLY FUCK HIM!
