A 52-year-old man fell from a building in Lai Kok Estate, Cheung Sha Wan, and died after being sent to the hospital. Sources indicate that the deceased was a sergeant from Tsuen Wan District Police Station, who had suffered from emotional issues before his death. The police classified the case as a "suicide" and followed up.

The incident occurred yesterday (2024-06-10) at 8:32 p.m., when police received a report that a man was standing dangerously on the corridor railing of Lai Kok Estate's Lai Lan House, suspected of attempting to jump from a height. Firefighters arrived and opened the air cushion, but the victim was injured after falling from the building. Paramedics rushed him to Caritas Hospital for emergency treatment, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The deceased's surname was Sin, 52 years old. Police found a suicide note on site and are investigating the cause of the fall. The case has been reclassified from 'someone in a dangerous location' to 'suicide' for follow-up.

A widely circulated video online shows a resident filming outside their window at their Lai Kok Estate residence, showing several firefighters setting up a life-saving air cushion at the junction of Lai Lan House and Yee Mei Court and moving it outside Li Lan House. A local resident commented, "The firefighter came and opened the air cushion in less than three minutes. Hong Kong's firefighters are so fun." However, during the movement, several people suddenly shouted, accompanied by a loud "bang" sound. The victim fell from a height, landing about 10 meters outside the air cushion; The neighbors were horrified and immediately stopped filming.

Every time I see a video out of china I'm reminded that these people are supposed to have an average IQ of 100....they seem less aware and intelligent than Indians to me, almost like aliens:alien:
