Residents of Norosí, in southern Bolívar, Colombia, experienced tense moments on Wednesday afternoon, August 19 2026, following an attack on the town's police station. Officers were attacked with drones loaded with explosives and rifle fire, in an action allegedly carried out by an illegal armed group operating in the area.
