A pregnant woman in Lod walked out of her house and didn't come back. She was stabbed by her own family. Not a terrorist attack, not a robbery—just a straight-up domestic homicide. Doctors tried to save her baby. They failed. Two suspects got arrested. The motive? Probably something stupid, because it always is. In Israel, the only thing more predictable than "it's complicated" is the next woman who gets killed at home by someone she trusted.
