A massive flash flood hit Rasuwa, Nepal, on August 26. The entire Timure market was flattened. 12 bodies were pulled from the debris. 384 tourists are missing, including 105 Indians. The flood came with no warning—officials say there was "no significant rainfall" recorded. Rescuers are struggling to reach the area. In Nepal, the only thing more devastating than the water is the silence before it hit.

It’s just a bit of water, not acid. Pull yourselves together and get ashore.

Climate change caused a glacier to collapse and that’s what caused the flood. We need to move away from using fossil fuels and return to horses for transportation.
