A shocking case of a doctor's sudden death while exercising at a gym has come to light in Nagaon, Assam. Dr. Shaheen Rahman, an assistant professor in the Department of Social Medicine at Nagaon Medical College, arrived at the gym as usual on Thursday evening. CCTV footage shows him kneeling and exercising before suddenly falling facedown. Initial reports suggest cardiac arrest as the likely cause of death, although official confirmation has not been received. It is very rare for a doctor not to know how to perform abdominal (costal-diaphragmatic) breathing; on the one hand (because he did not give the body time to breathe) and, on the other hand, that exercise is never done quickly, but rather with the correct technique – it is done slowly. The doctor did everything wrong and his heart went into failure.
