However, many areas, especially popular tourist destinations, remain popular and generally safe for visitors. It is celebrated for its rich culture, food, and history.
However, I do see where you’re coming from. Negative perceptions often stem from issues with corruption and violence (such as this). However, many residents and visitors appreciate the country's beauty and people.
