According to sources, the deceased was a student of Keta Business School who had actually travelled to Weija, Accra, to visit her boyfriend during vacation. She lost her life after falling into a manhole under unclear circumstances. The boyfriend claims he was at work when the news reached him. The Ghana Fire Service has since recovered the body.
