A 53-year-old businessman and mining financier was shot dead after being attacked by two unidentified armed men in Barangay Casalugan, Paracale, Camarines Norte.

Initial investigation by the Paracale Municipal Police Station (MPS) revealed that at around 2:40 p.m. on Monday, the victim had just returned from Daet town with his wife.

Upon arriving at the area, the wife walked first while the victim stayed behind to park their car properly before proceeding to their mining site.

Are there any Non ruthless assassinations? Do killers turn up with chocolates, maybe a McD's, a bottle of wine, and allow the victim a last meal, a goodbye call to their family, discuss how the death will be painless, maybe leave the killer a tip for outstanding service, a quick 5 star review on Google, before being shot in the back of the head?

So why are assassinations labelled "ruthless"?
