This is the video of the incident from January this year of the altercation that ended with the UWI dentist dying last month.

The University of the West Indies School of Dentistry is mourning the death of Dr. Gerard Roopnarine, a former student and part-time lecturer who was remembered for his quiet nature, warm smile and dedication to dentistry.
Roopnarine died on August 11, 2026, after being hospitalized following an alleged assault at a supermarket car park along Edward Street, Princes Town, on January 1.
His death has now led to a manslaughter charge against 62-year-old Sean Kewley, who appeared before a Master of the High Court on August 28. The matter was adjourned to October 9.
In a statement, the UWI School of Dentistry described Roopnarine as a genuine and dedicated professional whose contributions to teaching and patient care would be deeply missed. The school extended condolences to his family, colleagues and friends as police investigations continue.

How can somebody die months later from a punch? 1 or 2 days makes sense, but months? Any doctors here? He was hit, was in hospital for months and died?
