An undertrial named Nilesh Thakur pulled out a gun and fired at guard Digvijay Singh Tomar inside a Raisen court in Madhya Pradesh, India. First, he threw chilli powder in the guard's face. Then he shot him in the thigh. The guard survived. The prisoner didn't make it far. In India, the only thing spicier than the escape plan is the fact that he got a gun into a courthouse.

Prisoners housed in garages with access to all manner of utensils and meal condiments with subcontracted officers on weekends. Raisen Facility probably isn’t a maximum security prison.
