Most pedestrian accidents occur at intersections and as a pedestrian that’s where you need to be at your most ready and aware of your surroundings so at least you can gage wether that truck is driving erratically or it seems like it gonna stop. I mean yeah it was the truck driver’s fault but your are dead.
