A fire broke out at a factory making judo uniforms and boxing gloves in Swaroop Nagar, Delhi. The fire didn't burn anyone. The panic did. Six people jumped from an adjacent building to escape the smoke—a 28-year-old mother, her daughters aged 8 and 5, another 33-year-old mother and her 8-year-old daughter, and a 30-year-old man. All survived. All are in the hospital. The fire was under control by 1:50 pm. The cause is still unknown. In India, the only thing more dangerous than the fire is the fact that people would rather jump than wait for help.
