That attack took place on Friday, 26 June 2015, at the Imam Sadiq Mosque in Kuwait City during Friday prayers in Ramadan. The suicide bomber was a Saudi national named Fahad Suleiman Abdulmohsen al-Gabbaa, operating on behalf of an affiliate of Islamic State. The blast killed 27 people, including the bomber, and injured over 220 others
