A delivery boy in Kanpur was riding with goods when he met a pothole the size of a small swimming pool. He fell in. Bike and all. Passersby pulled him out and somehow got him to the hospital. The road remains exactly as it was—because in India, fixing a pothole takes longer than recovering from one. The pothole is still there. So is the next delivery boy.

How can you tell that idiots are running the country? By accidents like this, high crime rates, poverty, and so on. Just imagine an accident like this happening in Switzerland! The excavation site should have been clearly marked and visible to traffic on the road. To those governing the country: start acting sensibly from now on!
