Armed attack in Simaña leaves four dead and two injured

The community of Simaña—a settlement within the municipality of La Gloria, Cesar—experienced moments of panic and uncertainty.

According to preliminary reports from residents, suspected members of a guerrilla group stormed the area, targeting alleged members of paramilitary groups who were consuming alcohol. The violent clash resulted in a tragic death toll of four people: two suspected paramilitaries and two civilians who were unfortunately caught in the crossfire.

Additionally, two other people were wounded during the shootout and were transported to local medical facilities. Authorities are currently investigating the incident to secure the area and clarify the details of this deplorable attack.
