The incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. on Monday in Hariganj market near Patel Chowk. The deceased has been identified as advocate Guddu Ansari, a resident of Rojitpur.

The miscreants committed the crime while the lawyer was on his way to court on his scooter. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV.

Meanwhile, the deceased's brother-in-law, Mohammad Mumtaz Ansari, a resident of Rampada, has also accused his neighbor, Mojammil alias Khokha, of murder. He stated that Mojammil and his family had a long-standing dispute.

It is reported that a few days ago, Guddu Ansari had a fight with Mojammil in the court premises, in which the latter had threatened to kill him. One of the criminals who had previously laid an ambush attacked advocate Guddu Ansari with a knife while he was on his scooter.

The other three then pinned him to the ground, stabbed him nine times in the stomach, thigh, chest, and head. Finally, they shot Guddu in the head from behind, killing him.
