A KTM Duke 390R was tearing down the Madikeri–Bhagamandala road near Cherambane in Kodagu—a narrow stretch that cuts through coffee estates. Coming the other way was a rented Baleno. They met around a curve. Head-on. The KTM rider is injured. The road is barely wide enough for one car, let alone a bike doing rocket impressions on a blind corner. In India, a rented car plus a local road plus a fast bike equals a physics lesson nobody asked for.
