I dunno, from the way the swimmers were panicking and the people screaming it sounds like a croc pulled him under. I dont know why these idiots are swimming in croc infested waters anyways, zero survival instincts.

Swimming in that river, they were also contaminated with all sorts of parasites and disease, meaning the guy drowning just had the quickest death of them all.
