The crime occurred on February 11, when Valentina da Costa Eraclito dos Santos arrived home with her father. A video obtained by TV Globo shows the father getting out of the car in despair after his daughter was shot (see below).
The infractions appear in the video as they approach from the left and pull alongside the other vehicle. The shots, according to the police, were fired at this moment.
