Leave it to the Philippines to solve a simple land argument by having two grown men compete in a breath-holding contest underwater like it's some Olympic-level stupidity. The so-called wise elders thought this was better than knives, so both idiots submerged themselves for a full ten minutes until their brains basically liquefied. Now they're both dead, the land dispute is magically "solved," and the village gets to enjoy yet another shining example of why certain traditions belong in the trash bin of human history. In a country famous for creative ways to die, this one truly takes the cake for peak evolutionary failure.
