Luis Alfonso González Villegas, 34, was killed in the early hours of Saturday, October 17, following an argument with another man with whom he had been socializing and drinking alcohol at a bar in the historic center of Baruta.

The incident took place at the intersection of Bolívar and Salón streets. According to witnesses, 47-year-old José Garrido Tua—known as “Oreja”—approached the victim, used offensive language, and then attacked him with a broken bottle, inflicting a penetrating wound to his neck.

The victim was taken to a nearby community health center (CDI), where he subsequently passed away. Authorities are currently searching for the alleged perpetrator.
