A young man returns home to Lakhimpur Kheri after being away, and just 1-2 days later, he and his female companion are found hanging side by side. In a rare display of efficiency, police showed up at dawn, quickly cut down the bodies and sent them for postmortem before the village even finished their morning tea. Nothing says "welcome back" quite like matching nooses. In India, some love stories clearly prefer the dramatic shortcut.

Lakhimpur Kheri already has 67 hanging corpses in the district. Who’s going to pay good tourist money to see these retards? Cut ‘em down before the rapists show up.
