In Kanpur a 50-year-old security guard named Vikram Singh gets absolutely flattened when a massive iron gate that had been faulty for ten straight days decides to collapse right on top of him during night duty. The son says they complained repeatedly but nothing was fixed because apparently basic repairs are harder than watching a man die on CCTV. Another shining example of Indian workplace safety where "we'll do it tomorrow" turns into a funeral today.
