A biker gets smashed by a car in broad daylight on a busy Indian road and ends up sprawled on the asphalt like yesterday's garbage. What do the dozens of other drivers do? They casually swerve around him like he's a pothole, not a dying human being. Motorcycles, cars, everyone just keeps rolling while the poor guy lies there waiting for help that never comes. He later dies in the hospital. Nothing screams "vibrant democracy" quite like watching your fellow citizens treat a road accident like a minor traffic suggestion.
