@Aneuman - Actually, this type of incident happens quite often because the engine noise is so omnidirectionally loud (often being a jet turboprop these days), and the propeller blades being invisible due to the rapid spinning, people literally walk right into them... splaaaaaaaaaat!!!

Ignorance is the only explanation if you walk straight into where the props are especially when you hear the noise.
