On the southern section of Huanghe Road in Kaifeng, Henan, an individual attempted to dislodge a hornet's nest using a fishing rod. The rod made contact with a high-voltage power line—carrying 110,000 volts—causing the ground tiles to heave upward. The person was struck by the electric current.
