I understood the opposite; this operator is the one who collects the drones, and there's someone in another area controlling them remotely. So, he receives the drones and changes the battery on the drone he claims he challenged. Certainly, judging by his hand gestures, he was asking the drone to come closer, and then, where it could reach inside that door, he asked it to lower the drone so he could change the battery. But since the video is cut and doesn't show the sequences, it's impossible to see if it's actually one of the operators' drones or if it exploded.
