A man in Kazan, trying to escape a fire, climbed onto an air conditioner located one floor below. He tried to break a window, but firefighters rescued him. The victim is currently in hospital. According to preliminary reports, the fire started on a balcony on the sixth floor. The fire quickly spread to the balconies and filled several floors with smoke.
