Luís Gabriel, aka "Gabrielzinho," 21, a native of Porto Velho (Rondônia), was shot and killed in Guayaramerín, Bolivia, on the border with the Brazilian state of Rondônia. He was wanted for crimes in Porto Velho, including the murder of a 13-year-old, and had been on the run since 2022. The murder may have been related to settling scores related to drug trafficking.
Gabrielzinho had been a fugitive since July 31, 2022, following the murder of 13-year-old Arthur Amora Ribeiro. The boy was tragically shot in the head while flying a kite with friends in the São Cristóvão neighborhood of Porto Velho.
