A young woman in Rajshahi committed suicide by hanging herself while going on Facebook Live. She posted two posts on Facebook before committing suicide. She committed suicide around 3 pm on Wednesday (February 25). Police recovered her body in the afternoon.
The girl's name is Regina Sarkar Pakhi (21). She is the daughter of Idris Ali of Sapahar upazila of Naogaon. She used to live in a rented house at Lakshipur Quader Mandal intersection in Rajshahi city.
Before committing suicide, Regina Sarkar Pakhi posted a note on her Facebook ID. It read, 'I am Regina Pakhi. No one is responsible for my death. What will happen if I leave this life of my love? I love you Mohammad Harun Ansari.'
A few hours before this, he wrote, 'Today is my last day... May Allah forgive me... There is no happiness for me in this world. May Allah protect me, dear friends.' In another post, about two hours before his death, he wrote, 'Farewell, this beautiful world.'
In addition, he posted "I love you" and "I miss you" moments before his death. Later, he went live on Facebook.
Police said that the bird was in a love relationship with an Indian youth. There was tension in the recent relationship. It is initially believed that she may have committed suicide due to the stress of the relationship.
Rajpara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Kalam Azad said, upon hearing the incident, they rushed there and broke the door of the room and found her body hanging from the ceiling fan. A note was also found. It is being investigated whether there was any love affair. The body has been sent to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Her boyfriend left her for an arranged marriage she was forbidden from seeing him again.
