Serious consequences from mud races this Sunday, March 22, in San José de Perijá, Zulia state.

One of the participating vehicles lost control, veered off the racetrack, and crashed directly into the spectator area.

Dozens of family members and friends are gathered near Dr. Toribio Bencosme Hospital awaiting news about the condition of their loved ones.

Authorities have not yet issued an official statement confirming the exact number of injured or deceased.
