Authorities reported on an operation in which a man wanted for various crimes died, an event that occurred during a police intervention that was recorded by cameras.
A video captured the moment when police officers carried out an operation against a man identified as Jesús Peña Maldonado , known as “Piyoyito”, who was wanted by the authorities
According to preliminary reports, the individual was implicated in investigations related to several criminal acts recorded in different sectors of the Santo Domingo province.

Authorities indicated that the individual had two active arrest warrants against him, identified by the numbers 2025-AJ0073138 and 2026-AJ0000967.
