Smells like retard level IQs and unemployment

@ZZZQuill first of all, Nigerians do not have "retard-level" IQs. IQ tests are heavily influenced by environmental factors such as education quality, nutrition, health standards, and familiarity with test formats, rather than inherent genetic intelligence. While some controversial, older studies have estimated lower average national IQ scores for various developing nations, including Nigeria (e.g., an estimated score of 77 or 89 depending on the study), these do not indicate intellectual disability for the population.
Lower estimated scores are widely understood to correlate with factors such as limited access to quality education,, poor nutrition, and higher disease burdens, which can hinder cognitive development and test performance.
IQ scores are not an absolute measure of intelligence, and the claim that Nigerians have intellectually disabled-level IQs is false and not supported by credible, context-aware scientific consensus.

On the contrary, unemployment in Nigeria, affecting roughly 98 million people, stems from a combination of slow economic growth, high population growth, and a significant skills mismatch between graduates and job market requirements. Key factors include chronic underemployment, poor infrastructure (power/roads), and low access to funding for businesses.
Many graduates lack the technical, digital, or practical skills needed for the modern job market, often stemming from an outdated curriculum. There is little industry-academia collaboration, leading to poor career guidance and low practical experience.
Multiple recessions since 2016, along with the COVID-19 pandemic, have stunted economic growth. The economy is heavily dependent on oil, which does not generate enough jobs to accommodate the growing, young population.
Deficient power supply, poor roads, and high insecurity hinder business growth. High operating costs for small businesses limit their ability to employ more people.
While many Nigerians are officially unemployed, a large percentage are underemployed—working part-time or in low-skilled jobs that do not utilize their qualifications, which is often considered a bigger, more prevalent crisis than outright unemployment.
Entrepreneurs and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) struggle to secure funding, which restricts their growth and limits the expansion of employment opportunities.
